Textiles

Taking their fingerprints as inspiration, the LTs (Yr 9) have drawn details and then worked their drawings into a design. These designs were then dry-point printed onto fabric using multiple prints and colours.

Molly Thatcher Textiles AS

Molly has experimented with Block Printing techniques on paper, which has then been reconstructed into the base for a possible textile design for her AS Coursework.

Ruby Naybour Fine Art A2

Both of these pieces were created by Ruby using a mixture of printing techniques, and are part of the portfolio of practical work relating to her dissertation. This focused on David Hockney's work, in particular his more recent landscape paintings. The majority of Ruby's images came from the view from her desk in the Study Studio, out over the tennis court to the copper beech 'Climbing Tree'.
