These three vibrant and arresting works are Ophelia's response to the A2 exam title 'Flaws, Imperfections, Ideals and Compromises', and show her using a selection of female symbols and imagery. The works are A2 size and mixed media.

In response to the title 'Earth, Air, Fire & Water’, photographed her younger sister in four very different parts of the world. She produced a fantastic project that explored the eerie qualities of childhood, atmosphere, nature and the elements. Here are her four finished pieces.

Ophelia Jorgensen Art AS
Ophelia is exploring the AS exam theme of ‘Earth, Air, Fire & Water’, working with indian ink and drawing with a stick on to a ground of collaged tissue paper and PVA. She has been particularly inspired by the 1950’s work of the Welsh artist Ceri Richards.

Initially inspired by the work of Sally Mann and Ralph Meatyard here are a selection of beautifully delicate and sensitive portraits, of her younger sister, that Ophelia made for her Photographers Project. She has recently continued her idea into fairytale, and her final images will be posted here soon.
