Annabelle continues her excellent progress through her AS course, she will be greatly missed when she returns to Switzerland in the summer. Here are some of the strongest images that she has produced in response to the Exam theme of ‘Air, Earth, Fire & Water’.

Ophelia Jorgensen Art AS

Ophelia is exploring the AS exam theme of ‘Earth, Air, Fire & Water’, working with indian ink and drawing with a stick on to a ground of collaged tissue paper and PVA. She has been particularly inspired by the 1950’s work of the Welsh artist Ceri Richards.

Ruth Wright Palmer Art A2

This is one of Ruth's mixed media preparatory pieces for her A2 exam 'Growth and Evolution'. Working from studies of trees in the school garden she has used watercolours, dripping, blowing and manipulating the paint to achieve the effects she wanted.

Alicia Wong Photography GCSE

Alicia made a rich variety of interesting and individual imagery for her Still Life project. Below are a selection of scanography images that she made by directly placing objects onto the school scanner and then manipulating them in photoshop. She also made a lovely collection of images using text, form, light and structure as she explored the conventions and traditions of the photographic still life.

Ellie Doughton Photography AS

Inspired by David Hockney, Ellie has produced some excellent panoramic joiners of places of ‘significance & insignificance' for her Photographers Project. She developed her ideas through a range of ‘joiner’ imagery as well as experimenting with a 'photograph within a photograph’ but finally settled upon the image below for a final piece.

Flora Hunter Photography GCSE

Flora explored themes including structure, balance, pattern and form in her 'Landscape and Architecture' Coursework project. These lovely urban and rural images are a selection of her final pieces.

Alicia Wong Photography GCSE

Alongside her superb Coursework projects, Alicia also produced a range of individual and highly proficient imagery for her ‘Word of the Week’ project. Some of this work was then used as a starting point for themes explored in other projects.
